Veerhuis survives Hurricane Matthew

Haiti was hit by a terrible earthquake that destroyed a large number of buildings in 2010. In the aftermath, Veerhuis and Veerhouse Voda SA commenced the construction of houses on Haiti:

Six years after the disaster, Haiti was struck by hurricane Matthew on 5 October 2016. The island was swept by winds of over 230km/h. Matthew’s path crossed the west side of Haiti.

All the buildings built by Veerhuis on Haiti survived the hurricane without any damage.

Just as the recent earthquake in Chile resulted in no significant damage, the case of Haiti is another great example of Veerhuis’ sustainable buildings’ ability to withstand extreme weather conditions.
